#23 - We’re All Just Microbiome in the Gut of God
EPISODE #23
What if death isn’t an end, but just a shift in energy? In this episode, we hear from a nurse and Reiki practitioner who has spent years walking alongside people in their final moments and what she’s witnessed has completely changed the way she sees death. From early childhood, she’s been drawn to the mystery of what comes after, carrying around books about mummies and asking questions others avoided. That curiosity eventually led her into medicine, into energy healing, and into conversations most people are afraid to have.
She shares stories from her time in the ER. Moments when patients held on until a loved one arrived, or when someone who died reappeared to her in a dream, confused and in need of help crossing over. It was only later she learned what a psychopomp was. We also talk about Reiki, accessing other states of consciousness, and the deep comfort she’s found in believing that energy never really disappears. It just shifts form.
This episode weaves together science, spirituality, intuition, and humor. It’s about the thresholds between life and death, and how tuning into energy, whether through work, meditation, or grief, can change everything. And somewhere in there, we even talk about what it might feel like to become a tree.
