Saturday Contemplation #11

A Year You’ll Never Get Back

This Saturday Contemplation invites you to pause at the edge of the year and sit with a truth: this year is gone, regardless of how it unfolded. Rather than turning toward regret or self-judgment, the reflection offers a gentler approach. One that looks back honestly at how the time was spent, what filled your days, and what quietly shaped the life you were living.

This is also the final release from the project this year. It’s meant as a moment of closure, not in the sense of tying things up neatly, but in acknowledging the passing of another year. A chance to slow down before moving forward, to recognize what’s been carried, and to consider how you want to meet the time that’s still ahead. Wherever you’re listening from, this contemplation is an invitation to pause and reflect.

Beginning in January, all Saturday Contemplations will live on Substack. If you’d like to continue receiving these reflections, you can sign up at https://whenwedietalks.substack.com/.
